How it works, in plain words

The mat combines three things in one surface:

• Warmth: natural stones inside the mat, warmed by a far infrared heating layer, with adjustable temperature.
• Light: 12 red LEDs (660 nm) set into the mat.
• PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field): 2 coils built into the mat send a gentle pulsing field, with settings from 3 to 64 Hz.

• Start on the lowest heat setting with a short session. You can always go up. The mat can reach 159°F (70°C).
• Talk with your doctor before using it if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, are pregnant, or have reduced feeling in your skin (for example, from neuropathy), since you may not notice if the heat is too high.
• Avoid falling asleep on it with the heat turned up.
